Rob Harper BSc MSc

Rob has over 25 years’ experience in hydrogeology as a regulator (NRA and EA) and consultant initially with Hafren Water, then at URS and latterly as a freelance hydrogeologist before rejoining Hafren. As a regulator, Rob worked on the management of regional groundwater resources, abstraction licence determination, contaminated land regulation and was part of the technical team of the EA’s Strategic (Waste) Permitting Group. Subsequently, in consultancy, Rob completed many assessments including determination of conceptual site models, groundwater source development, planning applications for mineral extraction, permit applications for waste disposal to landfill and recovery operations, as well as brownfield site re-development and flood risk.
