Maz Wooding BSc MSc

Maz joined Hafren Water as a Graduate Hydrogeologist in September 2023. He specialised in Earth Sciences while studying his BSc Natural Sciences degree with the Open University. Since then, he has obtained an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham. During his studies he cultivated a proficiency in forming conceptual models in diverse groundwater settings, through considering hydraulic and chemical implications. The understanding of these conceptualisations enable Maz to overcome site-specific groundwater problems within the legislative framework. Maz's role at Hafren Water is enabling him to gain hands-on experience in various areas, including fieldwork, data processing, data analysis and report writing. This exposure is helping to progress his technical ability as a practising hydrogeologist beyond the post-graduate level.
