Johnathan Hatton BSc MSc FGS

Johnathan joined Hafren Water in April 2023. Through a BSc in Physical Geography from the University of Aberystwyth he learnt multi-disciplinary approaches to a range of environmental issues. He then went on to gain a MSc commendation in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling and Reconstruction from the University of Northumbria. While finishing his MSc, Johnathan started working for a research and development company where he gained valuable industrial experience for two years whilst specialising in metallic ore assessment and analysis. Within Hafren Water Johnathan supports senior staff in the production of Flood Risk Assessments and Hydrogeological Impact Assessments, gaining valuable experience and technical skills. He is looking forward to developing his wider knowledge on subjects such as SuDS, channel diversion techniques, and borehole monitoring.
