The input of Hafren Water on the removal of quarry dewatering exemptions is now ramping up as the application window is being rapidly worked through. We are currently supporting five mineral operating companies on the issue. We are finding that there are very few ‘simple’ sites, and that more time than had originally been envisaged is likely to be required to ensure that the situation at each quarry is understood fully and to obtain the necessary supporting information.
