Murtaza Iqbal joined Hafren Water in September in the role of Graduate Hydrogeologist. He has obtained a BSc in Geology from the University of Liverpool and then started a placement at Tier Consult as a geo-environmental engineer. He undertook factual report writing, core logging, site investigations, waste management plans and a range of site investigations for greenfield and brownfield sites.
Murtaza then studied hydrogeology at Birmingham University, obtaining his MSc, prior to joining Hafren Water. His role now includes data processing and analysis, GIS work and site investigations, and generally contributing to the delivery of hydrogeological projects, working closely with senior staff members.
